Advanced Transistor Technology
Acorn's new transistor technology is a form referred to as metal source/drain transitors. Instead of doped silicon junctions, the junctions are metal/silicon junctions. This is a Schottky junction. Acorn's advance is to make these junctions in such a way that much higher current transistors are realized than has been observed before for metal source/drain devices.
